A turtle’s shell has 28 scutes, symbolizing the 28 days of a woman’s menstrual cycle and its significance in developing a new life. The 13 scutes in the middle of a turtle’s shell stand for the number of moons in a year and the number of times Earth orbits the sun.

Humbleness is a lesson the wolf teaches us. The lone wolf is formidable, but the group is where it truly shines. Throughout their lives, wolves typically stick with the same pack, where they help raise the next generation and look out for each other’s safety. When individuals and groups are humble, they become stronger, just as the wolf teaches us.
